For years, we’ve delivered clean haircuts, fades, beard care and grooming with professionalism and pride. Our mission is simple: create a welcoming space for everyone — men, women, and all genders — and make sure every client leaves confident, comfortable, and looking their best.
Our Story
Since 1999, DMT Barbershop & Beauty Spot has been rooted in community, craft, and opportunity. After purchasing the business, Andria Clarke-White — a double-master’s graduate and 30-year retired New York Board of Education teacher — transformed DMT into a certified woman-owned and minority-owned enterprise. With the discipline of an educator and the heart of a leader, she built a space where professionalism, mentorship, and great grooming come together.
Originally migrating from Jamaica, Andria returned to Jamaica, Queens with a vision: keep a neighborhood business alive, create jobs, and give back. From 1999 through 2026, DMT Barbershop & Beauty Spot has grown into a trusted local hub — supporting youth programs, empowering future barbers and beauticians, and serving families across Queens. Today, we continue that legacy with modern grooming, inclusive service for all genders, and a commitment to quality that carries from one generation to the next.
