Welcome to DMT BarberShop & BeautySpot. Our goal is to create a clean, professional, relaxing environment for every guest — whether you’re here for a quick lineup, braids, beauty services, or a full grooming experience.

Below are answers to the most common questions about services, amenities, parking, accessibility, and shop policies.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability.

However, we recommend booking an appointment to secure your preferred time and professional.

Do you braid children’s hair?

Yes — we braid and style children’s hair and provide kids’ cuts and trims.

We take extra time and patience to make sure children feel comfortable and relaxed.

What amenities are available in the women’s salon section?

Our women’s salon is designed for comfort, relaxation, and privacy.

Each of the 6 women’s styling booths includes:

  • an individual TV inside the glass booth

  • personal viewing directly in front of the client

  • enhanced comfort seating

The salon area also features:

  • a calming waterfall feature on the wall

  • a separate drying room for quiet, relaxing processing

  • a peaceful environment designed to help you unwind

Do you have a lounge or waiting area?

Yes — several.

We offer:

  • main waiting area seating

  • a back area where customers can sit, relax, and wait comfortably

  • covered outdoor space in the rear for guests who prefer to smoke privately

We want every guest — even while waiting — to feel welcomed and comfortable.

Do you have a kitchen or refreshment area?

Yes. For convenience we have a:

  • fridge

  • microwave

  • small kitchen area (staff-managed)

We do not operate as a restaurant, but the area supports comfort and convenience for longer services.

How many TVs do you have in the shop?

We have 10 televisions placed throughout the shop, so there’s always something to watch while you’re in the chair or waiting.

Do you have EV parking and charging?

Yes — we proudly support EV drivers.

We offer designated EV parking and charging behind the building.

Details:

  • reserved for EV-driving customers only

  • can be reserved along with your appointment

  • intended to match your service time

  • please follow posted charging rules and staff instructions

Ask our team if you need help reserving a spot.

Is your business ADA accessible?

Yes. DMT BarberShop & BeautySpot is ADA-friendly.

We provide:

  • wheelchair-accessible ramp

  • wide walkways

  • supportive seating

  • assistance upon request

Our goal is to make every guest comfortable. If you need accommodations, let us know before your appointment if possible.

Do you have separate restrooms?

Yes.

  • A restroom in the men’s section

  • A separate restroom in the women’s section

  • A private office space in the women’s area

All facilities are maintained and cleaned regularly.

What is your refund policy?

Once a service has started or has been completed, we do not offer refunds.

If there is a concern, please talk to us before leaving the shop or within 48 hours and we will review and assist where possible.

Do you require deposits?

Some services require deposits — especially:

  • braids

  • specialty designs

  • color services

  • longer appointments

Deposits:

  • secure your appointment

  • are applied toward the total service

  • are non-refundable

  • may be transferred if rescheduled within our allowed time frame

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as early as possible.

Late cancellations and no-shows may lead to:

  • forfeited deposit

  • cancellation fee

  • booking restrictions

This helps us respect both your time and our staff’s schedules.

Can I reserve a specific barber or beautician?

Yes — when booking, you can choose your preferred professional, depending on availability.

Walk-ins are assigned based on who is open.

Do you sanitize tools and stations?

Absolutely.

We follow strict cleanliness standards:

  • tools sanitized between each client

  • chairs and stations wiped and disinfected

  • clean capes and supplies used

  • licensed professionals who follow sanitation guidelines

Your safety is always a priority.

Can I smoke inside the shop?

No — smoking is not permitted inside.

However, we provide a private covered outdoor area in the back for customers who wish to smoke while waiting.
